Maybe this is one of those positivity things, where you list the things you’re grateful for or say there’s no place like home three times and click your heels, except that might be less of a mantra and more of a quote from the Wizard of Oz.
Anyway, this is about my accomplishment for the day. Not to say that there is only one, but today I’m proud of myself because I spelled velociraptors right on the first try. I hit the space bar and the red squiggly line didn’t appear and a feeling of accomplishment washed over me.
What are you proud of yourself for today?
I tried and somehow managed to release three books for the summer. The latest one, Pool Boy, made it to the number one new book in LGBT Romance for teens. Getting that little orange sticker (even for a moment) feels great. I captured the moment for posterity of course.
Thank you to everyone who got the book!
Thank you to everyone who got a FREE copy of L-O-V-E on Amazon! It ranked as the top free book in YA LGBT fiction. I’m thrilled so many people are checking out my book about stubborn boys and spelling bees. I hope you enjoy the excerpt. Those who haven’t gotten a copy yet for free still can here.
My contest giving away 10 gay romances for young adult readers is also still going on. Enter for your chance to win!
And once again, thank you for selecting and reading my work! It means a lot to me (and my dog) while I try to support us as an author.
